Welcome current, retired and former Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters, EMT/Paramedics, First Responders, Dispatchers, Aeromedical Specialists and Coroners!

Our Motivation:  For military veterans there are hundreds of clubs, associations, charities, and military organizations that offer a wide variety of benefits that enrich their lives.    Just between the VFW and the American Legion, they have 14,000 locations across the U.S. to serve military veterans.  There is nothing like that for our Public Safety First-Responders.

 

Even after decades of protecting and serving their communities,  many retired and former first-responders receive no benefits of any kind...no recognition, no honors, no post-traumatic stress care, not even a “veteran” discount.  And, when these former heroes die, there are rarely any funeral  honors.  Their service to their Community and their Country frequently goes unrecognized.   Military veterans have their identity, benefits and honor for life.  First-responder veterans are left out, alone, their contributions forgotten.

 

Our Mission:  We created VPS to provide programs that help address the benefits gap and restore a sense of value, pride and community for First-Responder Veterans here in South Carolina, as well as building a model for former first-responders in other states to follow.
